The Lead Instructor will instruct and implement the Caregiver Training Program to educate students in accordance with the curriculum, standards, and objectives. Will have variable classroom and/or clinical teaching workload depending upon the number of students, the curriculum needs, level of student coursework, the number and geographic locations of clinical facilities and responsibilities related to both student and non student contact hours, and in accordance with policies in the Employee Handbook.

Why are we doing this? 35% of direct-care worker households in Arizona rely on some form of means-tested public assistance, particularly Medicaid or food and nutrition assistance. This reliance reflects the generally poor quality of direct-care jobs in terms of wages and benefits, and the part-time nature of many direct-care jobs.
The mission of the ASHI Caregiver Career Center is to provide career assistance, job search, interviewing skills, food pantry, clothing and vouchers to assist with unexpected expenses.
All proceeds will benefit exclusively the Caregiver Career Center for Senior Housing Caregivers. Help us lend a hand to those that devote their lives to Arizona’s seniors!

The Arizona Senior Housing Institute (ASHI) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities for individuals living in Arizona seeking career opportunities in the rapidly growing assisted living industry.
Currently ASHI is focused on creating the ideal industry training environment that will professionalize caregiver training and propel it into the future. Caregiver training in the assisted living industry currently lacks innovation and dynamic protocols to challenge each student to higher level of education and industry knowledge.
The ASHI Academy of Care Homes project will accomplish this, and much more. A one-of-a-kind training center surrounded by licensed assisted living homes, The ASHI Academy of Care Homes will provide ideal hands-on training while caring for Arizona’s seniors. Nowhere else is this type of a “training community” found. ASHI’s dream is to make this a reality.
